Kyra Haglund

Kyra Haglund (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker and yoga teacher with more than two decades of experience guiding people towards greater health and well-being. She specializes in trauma recovery, stress management, navigating life transitions, and generally supporting folks to develop more robust and stable nervous systems.
Kyra is passionate about helping people feel more embodied and empowered. There are so many pressures and myths of ‘not enoughness’ at work upon our beings, including systemic oppression. As a counterbalance, Kyra is dedicated to helping folks make room for deeper connection to their values and to Joy.
Taking an integrative approach to healing, Kyra weaves together both talk and somatic & mindfulness practices. In addition to decades of study in the art of Yoga and meditation, Kyra is a certified practitioner in both Somatic Experiencing and EMDR and has in-depth training in IFS. She is also a co-founder of Collective Resilience, a trauma-informed and healing and justice-centered yoga & somatics training program.
Kyra is originally from Western New York state. She lived and studied holistic arts, dance, and ethnoperformance extensively in India and Nepal and loves all things music and movement based. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington with her family where she been known to keep herself regulated and connected to joy by having dance parties with herself between sessions.
